MQ pre-filter

What would the consequences of removing the pre-filter out of a shorty MQ (SD33) and just running pipe straight from the snorkel to the main filter?

But i just streched the original piping from one filter to the onther and secured it with lots of sealant.
Running one filter is fine, all of the petrols were like this... just make eure your filter is clean
