Fitted 17x9's and 35x12.5 MTZ's to my 4Runner

My 37x14 Iroks for the zook finally arrived in and I was planning to run them on the 15x10's that I had on my 4runner, and go back to 15x8's on the 4runner. But I've kinda been keen on the idea of 17's for a while so I asked Ryano at Fourby's what he could do.

As usual, he did a deal to good to refuse, so I went down saturday morning and got them all fitted to the 4runner, then also had the 37's mounted to my 10's.

The new wheels are 17x9 Brute B201's, which I hadn't heard of before...but the wheels look awesome!. Heres there website. (the music on it is farkin annoying!)

And the tyres are 315/75/R17 (35x12.5) Mickey Thomson MTZ's, which so far seem drive really nice....and not too bad noise wise either.

The only thing I miss with the new setup is the width....the old 15x10's had massive offset, which looked awesome, but the new ones still fill the guard nicely, and the steering also seems to be heaps better with the less offset rims.

Heres some pics :cool: .....and a HUGE thanks to Ryano at Fourby's :armsup:

It works out to roughly $70/rim and $50-60/tyre depending on style and pattern. Comparative to 15" pricing, if you budgeted an extra $300 for a set of four, you'd get 16" and $500ish will see you with some Big Bling 17".
Hope it helps.

Glad you's like them....the 4runner doesn't really get used in serious offroad stuff anyway, so there isn't much chance of screwing the rims....it's mainly for show, and towing my zook, hence the BLING :cool:

not in the slightest.. didnt realise it was a show car not used offroad. spendin them coin on them rims you wouldnt take em offroad, they would look like shit after a few rock took to em.

well well well :twisted:
mud=vgood
rock=vgood
road=vgood
noise=fine
fast gravel=vgood
sand= ok but on first impressions they dig more than i expected 18lb in really soft shit --20lb and they will work ok

wear=nearly got 20 000 on mine already and look like it'll be at least 60 000 maybe more... everyones been shocked to see how good they look at this many km's. :armsup:

am overdue for a balance and rotation sorry ryano but will get there but seem to hold balance muh longer than previous rubber.

by not not
Agree on all bigham except the noise facter Mine seem to be very quiet. Now that they are on the miss pajero i can hear em clearer but still pretty quiet for a mud.
