Navara gearbox

Hi All,
Does anyone know of anywhere to get a gearbox for a '95 Nissan Navara D21 diesel ute at a reasonable (READ - CHEAP) price??
A mate of mine....JAFO from this and a few other forums has had a major failure in his today and needs to get it back on the road for work.
Any info or contact will be much appreciated.
