As I understand it, the FC101 Sals use weak rover axles.

i'm pretty sure 101 axles are 1.5 inch 30 odd spline axles.
i started with these diff because of the strength in housings axles and c.v's

The forward control is based off a Landcruiser FJ45, and uses 1.5"axles.

They may well be 1.5" axles, but FC101 is based on an FJ45!! What parts are Landcruiser?

Are the 101FC diffs a straightout transplant into series vehicles??
If so, what is there availability like???

101 diffs are a straight fit for lwb s111's
same steering large brakes, only the front shaft needs a mod because of the length of salisbury 3rd member
they can also be sprung over easily because of existing perches

WHAT

The 101 FC was released by Land Rover in 1962 based on the Land Rover Series 11A...

IIRC the FJ 45 was released sometime around 1964/5
