Thread specs for Beau's 3" dump pipe?

Can anyone tell me what the thread specs are on the weld boss fitted as std to the Beaudesert Exhaust 3" dump pipe?
What compression fitting do I need to fit a thermocouple to it... a 1/8" BSPT, 1/4" BSPT, 1/4" NPT...or something else?
