yes they will fit. i saw an 80 with 33 inch BF Goodrich muddies on it the other day and the owner said that it had no lift on it.

I'm running the 305 Mudders (33x12.5) on factory 8 inch alloys, and they're fine with a slight bit of trimming of the rear mudflaps (GXL).

33s on 80

I run 35s (Wrangler MTRs 12.5 and centipedes 10.5) on sunrasier 15x8 rims on my 94 80. I do not have a body lift but have a 6 inch suspension lift but at full compression the front tyres do not scrub at all. The back ones will rub lightly on the inside of the guard and chassis. I do not have read mud flaps but they can just touch on the bolts that hold up the mudflap.

So in answer to your questions 33s should have no problem.

Will have to lift body and maybe a guard trim on the rear when I go 38s......

my 80 is three inches higher no body lift and my 33 have torn out my rear mud flaps on full compression. trimmed the mud flaps in the upper inner corners and haven't had a problem since. you should be able to fit 33's with no prob at all, just check that they won't foul on your mud flaps.

With my old OE springs which were a bit saggy my Cooper S/T's used to rub the flares on road if I hit a big bump. The part of the flare facing the ground. No issues off road the flex meant they just went up inside the guards no problem. Prior to the Coopers I had BFG AT's which never hit the flares/guards so I can only assume that the tread face on the Cooper's is a touch wider. Hope this helps.
