Got my well worn 93 model 80 Wagon.

Part time transfer - factory setup - full pov pack - ex SEC car.

Want to work out the gearbox id numbers. ie H150/h151a,b,c,z... etc..

Any place I need to look? Any numbers to check(duh)?

Want to know for sure!

Thanks...

If it's a HZJ80 (1HZ) it will be a H150F, but as suggested earlier it will be on the ID plate.

Will let you know - the bloke who did my clutch a year ago must have strong armed the damn filler plugs tight, cause a chisel aint moving them at all! But been using a morey's & Mobil 1 Synth mix(1:4) for the last 20,000's with excellent results... I think once I get the filler situation sorted I will know better as well. Will do teh change and then see what happens!

Box is at 335,000 and is sloppy in the gates already... now the extra grunt is making it un happy!

Cheers!
