Hi Guys,
I need to purchase one for the Lux

but you don't have to have a Lux to answer this question
What brand have people used and liked/disliked

Should i do the bearings at the same time
These three are listed on ebay:
Proserv
Toyota 4x4
Terrain Tamer 4WD
Just deciding which one to buy

OK 2nd kit u can get from repco for $119 thast all bearings a seals
all of the ktis are made from same same material
and probly come out of the same workshop
But yeah its ideal to replace the bearings, but its up to you
and dont buy it from ebay. it %90 chance its cheaper in a store like repco.
and u can get em down on price dont be shy to ask if they could bring it donw abit

Terrain Tamer is a good brand for the money....
Check the bearings when you have them out - if unsure it is cheap insurance to replace them.
Cheers

I'm useing Terrain Tamer in my car and there fine. I got my kit from Sunshine State Spare Parts 188 Kerry Rd Archerfield QLD 4108 ph: (07) 3216 6333 The price was quite good and they'll more than likely have it all in stock

You will see alot of oil around the hub possibly drips on the ground if really bad. My left one is in need. Bigger the wheels, the more often you have to do it.

PM Hobzee off here he sells these kits on ebay, calls himself The4wdshop on ebay, I've brought a few things from him and it's all been really good gear, he's got the kits you're after. He knows what he's talking about so maybe give him a try.
Here is a link to his ebay store so you can have a look for what you're after:

Thank Beretta but Hobzee is a bit more expensive than Sunshine State Spare Parts and they are the same brand

and that is without postage.
Sunshine State are more expensive then Repco but Repco are some unknown brand.
I am going to pickup the kit from Sunshine on the weekend

I bidded on a bearing tube spanner from this guy on ebay once and he pulled the pin on the auction because the bidding wasn't going up the way he wanted it too. IMO he can't be trusted to keep his end of the bargain. BUYER BEWARE

I can get them through work for $60. This does both sides. (no wheel bearings though) Can get the wheel bearings at a good price too. But any big bearing company will supply. They are a "SH4" Swivel Kit. Let me know if ya want some. Ph Aaron - 0407276979
