Hey fella's.

Just had a new Impco gas sytem fitted up to my tb42 and the mech's have disconeccted the pipe that runs from the bottom of the Riser Assembly thigo that goes down towards the exhuast manifold.

Now does it matter at all? Can i just piss the hole thing off? The hole that is left over the exhuast manifold, should i be doing somehting about it in case of water digestion?

Its a little hard to find pcitures on the forum atm, as im sure you all know, but looking at this snorkel set up, I would presume u dont need the Heat Riser?

Any sugestion would be great.

Heat riser can be disconnected. Does it still have the bit in the air cleaner for the heat rise tube?

Yeah the assembly is still there, Its just not connected to the manifold or wherever it goes.

So I can just take the hole thing out of the air intake section?

From what i have been told. Gas doesn't need any extra heat in the intake system to start. so they take it off. if you run petrol as mucha s gas, have it reconnected caue when on petrol on a cold day, running on petrol till the engine warms up will be a jumpy affair :)
