I havent seen you post on the wire in a while, so I was wondering how things were working out with the insurance company and all.

Keep us posted. I will start looking for parts too if you are in a pinch at all.

I'm here Dougie, still waiting for the insurance co to make a decision. The first repair quote is 75% of the value I have it insured for.
So I should find out soon but it's looking like a total write off.
I'm hoping that I can buy the wreck back reasonably cheap and rebuild it maybe with another motor (and some other special things).
The more sensible blokes are suggesting I should just buy a Nissan Patrol and mod that (everything is available) as it already has a live front axle.
That makes perfect sense but my heart is with the Paj  \
I haven't posted on the Wire for a while as it's been a bit boring recently without Swartzy stirring the pot. I miss the good old days with Gordo, Augie & Doug Miller

You know what the right thing to do is, regaurding that truck.

As far as the wire, yeah I hear you. It isnt the same without the old crowd. I am not trying to knock the new guys, but it is a different atmosphere. I was talking to Guy about it, I think we share the same opinion. I am also growing tired of the more liberal crowd, but that is my own personal problem. I personally would rather talk trucks and wrenching, than crack pot conspiracy theories, and alternative lifestyle crap.

Oh well...

Yeah Dougie, what really annoys me are the repetitive questions, all the imfo is there some of these guys have to bother to use the search function.
Some of the questions recently are incredibly stupid and mind numbingly boring
I couldn't even be bothered breaking out the diamond encrusted riding crop for some of those guys ;)
Anyway hangin to see Ray's trip report (Sierra Nevada's) and all the carnage (thats what makes the forum) and it's good to see Swartzy back in action (even though it looks as though he's pussy whipped now)
