Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi, I have a 4.2 diesel GQ ute and was wondering if there is any way in which I could make the cab a bit quiter. Would the application of sound deadning paint on the floor inside the cab make any difference?. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is a product called Roadkill whick is a sound deadening mat which you cut and glue to the inside panels of your car, ie inside your doors, the floor, the wall behind your seats, which is awesome for stopping noise.
It is also not cheap, being designed for custom car audio applications.
I would probably check with your local car stereo supplier/fitter, as they would have a range of goodies to do the job, or at least be able to source them for you.
I painted the floor of a car I had with body deadener once, it took days to dry if you put on enough to make any difference.

My surf used to be a bit loud inside so while i was installing the stereo and had most of the interior out i went down to the local auto Upholsterer and bought some thick underlay. He charged me something like $20 for 2 or 3 square metres. I stuck it on with liquid nails and it worked really well.
