Noisy LockRite.... How to daiganose problem?

Hi guys,
i've a Lock Rite in the rear of my LN106 Hilux.
Recently the left halfshaft snapped and the went into 1wd....
After replacing the halfshaft the car still drives normally but....
Now it's pretty noisy every time i go around bends. It goes "clack clack clack clack" and stops when it straightens up.
Sometimes there is the occasional clunk where in a straightline the right wheels feels like it engage slower then the left wheel. Everytime it does that the rear end gets thrown off...
Engagement feels slower too....
I bring this up because i find the Lock rite b4 the axle broke very quite in nature, none of the noisy clack clack clack around bends, and none of the stupid quirks as mentioned. It feels like it reacts faster than my Detroit rear Daihatsu rocky too. I like the performance of the lock rite than my Detroit (flame suit on).
So what could be the problem?
Any solution?
Is it possible to rebuild a Lock rite? Who can i order it from online? I'm from Malaysia btw. Doubt there's a dealer here.

if you dont clutch in around corners, or keep the boot on, the locker is going to engage/disengage (clunk, clunk, clunk), and then once you straiten out and it goes bang, its fully engaging and can kick the arse out.
I dont know if you are trying to say yours is now far worse than it was? sounds as though you are familiar with how to drive with a lockrite.

Don't assume its the lockrite, or you may miss something.
I had a similar issue on mine, and it was the splines on the axle I fitted that was the problem.
Splines can bind and release when badly worn.
You may have damaged a wheel bearing or a side gear in the diff?
My lockrite (front) is very quiet, banging clunking only a rare event...
You can buy rebuild kits, usually just the 4 pins needs replacing.

Which detroit are you talking about? I am still trying to decide and opinions are helpfull.

i found the lockrite quiet for a couple of months of use then once it losened up it makes noises similar to what you are describing. The rear swaying out after turns or gear changes is perfectly normal, it says all that in the manual. i have snapped a rear axle with the lockrite and noticed no additional noises.
You might find that the strain which caused the axle to snap has just losened the locker up and now it is working in its normal state.

So u suggest i should check:
axles-splines (Fitted new ones)
Wheel bearing
Side gears( U mean the dog teeth clutch of the Lock Rite)?
Spring and pins( Just check is they are not bend)?

the Lokka u're talking, is it the same generic part that can be used for my Lock Rite?
Someone suggested i should change the springs and pins. Good idea to do it? Talking about that is it possible to rebuild a Detroit locker? My Rocky also suffers this slow lock up reaction too.

if u can live with the quirks i say grab a Detroit Locker. Much stronger than the lockrite. I like the detroit coz i'm Mr Hyde around corners. Love it when the rear end wags its tail. Dorifto.....

I keep forgetting non zook lockrights usually replace the side gears, so they should be fine, but a check of the side bearings could be wise.
New axle splines should be fine, mine were 2nd hand, and didn't show up as an issue until I fitted a difflock.
At $30 I'd be replacing the sprin and pins in the lock right anyway.
