was out ormeou today with some mates and tried out some new sections. one was a mega hill climb i think is tower of terror but i dont know. anyway every one went first and made it after some wheel lifting and bouncing. then it was up to me to give rovers a good name was going sick till just at the top my rear diff found a nice pointy rock from there it all went wrong at first thought i did an axle on closer inspection found a nice figer size hole and some teeth of some gears dropping out.

BUT I HAD FUN!!!! now have to tell the missus :bad-words:

will post some pics and maybe a vid soon

I am getting a JacMac locker when the money box has filled up..... I have a rear maxi and rover 4.11's so a toy conversion isnt worth it for me....

If i had std diffs and no maxis i would go down the toy path with jacmac axels it's works out a bit cheaper then 4.11's and maxis

I have only ever been out wheelin 5 times on standard rover diffs...

When i first got into wheeling was the first three times.... broke front diff twice, then broke rear diff centre.

Then moddified and wheeeled everyday with out dramas (maxidrives) bought a tow vehicle that i took 4wding and first outing broke rear short side axle splines, second time blew front diff centre to bits.

also had both ZF in the original blow the clutch packs and now the tow vehicle has done the same

i am rather over it hey... will never wheel with standard rover shit EVER AGAIN...

I worked out a long time ago that rovers don’t like you AP!!! I think u are better suited to the 'OTHER' type... you know the type that just hits shit at warp speed and wonder why things break..... :finger: :finger:

its true... maybe i would be more suited to a nissan and just drive shit harder and faster cause i personally thought i was rather gentle when it came to 4wdin...

no really rover diffs are just piss weak... and maybe i should just learn how to wheel...

Jacmac axles, drive flanges, brass bushes, end caps $1560.
These axles are massive compared to standard rover

no it isn't.... it includes axles...

why do people complain about the price of maxi drive....

cost of an arb locker + axles + compressor =$$$???

cost of jac mac locker + axles + compressor =$$$???

cost of maxi drive

they are all good products... you only get what you pay for.

i have no problem paying the price for maxi drive... and i'm not rich
