Outer Limits 4x4 Board

i want to fit 255/85/16 tyres on my patrol. thing is though tyre websites state that the tyre should be on a 7" rim though the acceptable rim widths are between 6" and 8".

as the standard wheel on my gq is 8" wide.... what problems if any would have putting the 255 tyre on my rims if any? Also will i need to buy more narrow rims??

255 is 10" so is wide enough tht there should be no issues using an 8" rim.

If the tyres are approved to run on an 8" rim it will definately be ok.
