Yea got Sam to cut some of the chassis back the winch sits right up under the grill now. I think it took about 1 foot or more off the ARB bar that was on it...

i'm interested to see how your sliders are fitted, cos it's one heavy car that they may have to support the weight of.

No problem mate... They are welded in 3 places sure you can bend em if you land on them hard enough  I had ARB ones they were crap would move at the slightest grounding. I would say at least 2 times as strong as some bolt on type. Will pop up some pics in the next few days. ;)

Some Pics of the mounts for you guys.
As far as going harder that is the idea being such a
big truck it tends to lean around having the 5 link
and all... The side bars hang out so I can slide along
things also
Price wise around $1200 for the Front Bar
and $1300ish for sliders. Give Sam a call
on (02) 94766137 for more info. I have been
after something to work both ways for sliding along
from the side and underneath these will work a treat!

Looks sweet! The front tires look really exposed or is that the angle of the photo?

Better than hitting the body :P

what about the air bag.. if u hit it with some force would it set the bag off..
on the arb i had a hit and it didnt go off...

i like the bar...it looks good, the only thing stopping me is the handbrake who thinks its ugly and will come back on the body..

I am not sure about the air bag, Put it this way. If I hit anyone (and most cars are sedans) first point of contact is going to be the front wheels. At any speed this would be bad and I try no to think about it  As far as the airbag in the Patrol I think the sensor works on the rate of deceleration and the front bar does not come in to play. I had a Zook with an air bag and did a body lift. The front bumper had a sensor in it but there is nothing like that on the Patrol.

Having a total of about 11 inches lift including the 37's I give myself extra room from the cars in front, its not exactly go cart handling it's more like guiding the beast around hahahah

What are they made of - CroMoly or steel?

the front of your GU looks sweet, but a tad bit naked,

Bar is steel. It depends what your after it is not for everyone. 37's and 8in lift you can get away with that look
It is designed to get a better entry angle.
Hang out for the rear bar !
