i get the exact same problems

when i go in mud it overheats like crazy after a short time when the mud dries hard on the radiator

i just take 20L drum of water with me and flush it out the next morning, my alternator i also have to flush out with a hose

other then fitting a guard under the alternator its really a matter of taking water with you

This is a big problem on dirtbikes aswell. To help combat the radiators getting clogged with mud, there are fins on the front. A plastics guard with fins coming out an about a 45 degree angle. MOST of the mud is stopped by these fins, quickly dries and then falls off.

nice ideas

No never pressure wash the alternator or the radiator after being out mudding

the mud dry on the radiator and u hit it with high pressure and u rip the core on the radiator apart and it will leak

just hose the mud let it soak then hose it again
