Has anyone actually rewound one of these or know of a higher amp unit that bolts up?

Look at the surf units they are bigger (lots of electrics)

Well i had to change it the other day because it died.
Got one of a surf from the wreckers for $75
But just looking into getting something better. I can't find any info on the model numbers written on the new one so i don't know the amps
