Has anyone actually rewound one of these or know of a higher amp unit that bolts up?
91' Solid axle Diesel Hilux LN106 (3L motor) has the air pump on the back of the Alt

I got mine repacked for about 240 inc labour....... wish they had rung me 1st though I would have said scrap it and fit a bigger one :x

Look at the surf units they are bigger (lots of electrics)

Well i had to change it the other day because it died.
Got one of a surf from the wreckers for $75
But just looking into getting something better. I can't find any info on the model numbers written on the new one :x so i don't know the amps :?
