Hi
I'm installing in my feroza a V6 3000cc engine of mitsu pajero or montero here in chile. This engine is from 91' or 92' I don't remember.

Well, my problem is that making electric installation de technician realize that the CO2 sensor is missing, I understand and also from mitsubishi chile toldme that this engines use only O2 sensor, but technician insist that this engine use de CO2 sensor instead of O2.

Anybody knows if is this right?

Thanks very much for your help.

This is the first I've heard of a CO2 sensor. Is the technician claiming it uses a CO2 sensor in the exhaust, instead of the O2 sensor?

No my friend, it is not in the exhaust but in the cables coming from the ECU there is a three ways plugging.

No engine or management system that I have heard of uses a co2 sensor as co2 is a major component of exhaust gases. the o2 sensor is used to adjust fuel delivery to keep emissions at a constant. So I would guess that your mechanic is calling the o2 sensor a co2 sensor ???? :?:
