Lift or Cut

Post by Skyzic »

I've Been wanting to do a 2" body lift and maybe a 1" Suspension lift to Fit my tires better. Right now I'm Running slightly larger then factory. "Im at work and cant remember the Exact Size" They seem to fit ok but I do get some rubbing when I Drop off Curbs or do any 4x4ing. I have been reading alot about diffents mods and was thinking about just cuting my fenders instead of the lift. I like that fact that I would keep a low Center of gravity this way.I may want to go to 31" or 32" tires in the future and I was wondering If anyone has an opinion if 31"' or 32" will fite with just cutting my fenders and tubbing the Wells

i would realy like to hear the pros and cons of the idea
thanks

hmm... cutting to fit on 31s or 32.. i dont think thats possible.. i bearly mangaged to fit on my 235/75R15 mud kings after a 2 inch lift via torsion bars..... i dont rub but it comes pretty close.. only time i gotta worry is when i make 20 ft long jumps.. lol. u could prolly fit on 30's..... as for cutting.. seems like a major hassle.... an if u mess up.. well... u messed up.... lol.

I ran 235's with a 2.5" Suspension lift NO PROBLEM, heaps of rooms, could have gotten 30's on there. 2" Body lift on top of that and I run 31's no problem at all..

K thanks for the feedback As I said it was an Idea. "Never know when that "stupid" :) Idea may be just what solves the problem.
