93' 80 series backfire problem

80 series on gas backfires quite often anyone have an answer?

yeh its just a build up of unburnt gas in your exhaust. at least thats what my mechanic told me. you could try taking it ti an lpg mechanic to have the gas system tuned . also do you run a snorkle if so this could also be causing the problem if so try disconnecting the snorkle rubber duct from your air box and take it for a run if it fixes problem then you will need to have a balance pipe put on your gas system to allow for the extra air flow from the snorkle.did the same thing on mine hope this helps muds

Backfire out the exhaust or up the air cleaner.....exhaust is plugs, or leads, and air cleaner is lean mixture...fix it b4 it blows your motor or worse, the efi aswell...

serviced only about 5000kms ago back fires though airfilter only on LPG it just blow the air flow meter to bits brought second hand 1 $400 later. gas system is computerized with all the shit like EFI so cant be tuned does it all it self the gas bloke told me. someone else told me leads might have to try that but went to auto parts place they wanted $210 for leads

tune itself bull still has to set without being set will be under powered. backfire. stall. use to much fuel. and then thay can still get out after a while what mixer what converter what power vavle
