Hey all,

I can't get the @#$#@ oxy sensor out - it is well and truly stuck - had a big ring spanner on it with leverage and WD40 soakind in and all that.....

Heres a thought - Grinder with the metal disc? I can grind about 5m above the nut to get most off, then drill the rest out.... Or something like that

Would that work? Am I going to die?

Thanks all! Any hints would be good, cause the current one is DEAD. :(

Be prepared to have the thread stuffed in the exhaust when you finally manage to remove it!

Perhaps some heat might help?

i agree with trying some heat on it.

the one in mine was stuck tight too, just wont budge. but i pulled the whole manifold off when i put the turbo on and bought a new universal single wire sensor off ebay.

Piss it off and get a new one. OR go to a Pick a Part and grab one off an Applause. They come out MUCH easier because it's a different manifold.

Yeah might be worth trying it with the motor hot. I used to have a big ass jesus bar about a metre long for such thing as this, slip it over your spanner and whatever your trying to undo will either give or snap. one or the other :D

Thanks all - I will try it hot... I also have an over 1M long steel peice for leverage, but was too confined to get it all setup! Oh well.

See how we go.... I purcahsed the new one (for the last motor) 6 months ago, but it never got installed!
