Will a 2L Starter Motor affixed to a G52 Gear Box, work with a 4Y Fly Wheel?
How far apart is the difference between LN65 and YN65 Engine Mounts?
What's a good Shop to get a new Radiator from, cheap?

[1] different bellhousings will not fit
[2] totaly different
[3] you cant have good and cheap you either use good quality and pay for it once or you use cheap and are for ever paying for it

For me, a 4Y would be a huge gain.
My 2L will cost atleast $3,000 to rebuild only what is critically needed.
New 4Y $2,450 + $180 Freight

One day you will want to sell your truck with a 4Y and guess what no one will want it.
If it had a reco 2L in it it would get a lot of interest and a higher price!

You'd be far better off going for a 3L engine or even a 2LT.
I checked that website you quoted...wow expensive.

Today, I found out that a new 3L is $5,400 + GST and it's only a 'Long Motor'. To get the 12 month Watrrenty, the Injectors and the Injector Pump have to be reconditioned.
