picking up a sierra pretty soon and am just trying to sort out what i want to do to the suspension. ive been looking at all the different types and ive moved away from SPOA to the coil conversion due to the better onroad ride quality. has anyone here had any experience with it? are there and drawbacks or legal issues?

Being ur in WA, do you want to keep it legal as per all the paperwork and engineers etc... ?

Overkill also does a coil kit, Bazooked on here has one in his LWB. Works nice.

Do a search on here re: coil conversion.

I believe it is possible but believe it is $$ as a swerve test (~$1500) is needed and also engineering cert.

i dont think u can get it enginered, its a 6" lift plus tyres, plus its a pretty big mod for a zook, alot of cutting and welding which the trans dept aint gonna like, but hey...... i did it.

one thing i just learnt with engineers is if they cant give you an almost exact amount it will cost for thier services then find another, i just spent $600 on an engineer just to drill a hole and fit a brake booster
