Upon post trip inspection, I discovered my fuel filters were very stuffed and dirty, they not very old, but it explains why my sierra had idle issues on our clubs Gauntlet day. For now will replace filters, and do so regularly, clean system out, and put in some carby clean, or metho. This will be ok fer now, but in future may consider better filtration, ie deisel or efi filters, any thawts appreciated. christover

how is your FF getting dirty? crud in the tank or muddy water runs?

when you install the next filter why not use a bit of Mr Silicone to help seal it up a little better?

found the culprit, the main fuel filter had come apart, probly cheap/nasty thing.. fuel tank draining showed no real muck, tho tank is dented, and muck maybe staying in the corners? think saving money on filters is a bad idea, will get a $20 EFI filter from a Dunny Door or something. dirt found was nothing unexpected, just quicker, but obviously first filter was doing nothing, christover
