I have a zook airlocker I have had apart to repair and Im just wondering how the lock washers on the bolts that hold the thing together work?
When I undid the bolts they just undone with a bit of resistance.
Now it is time to bolt the locker together again do these just turn as you do up the bolts? Or do they have to be pulled off and tapped on after?
Is it OK to reuse them or is it best to replace with newies?
Or should I just use some strong loctite?
Paul.

The bolts come with a loctite on the threads if you buy new bolts as well as the lock tab.
If you try to reuse the tabs they fall off and go through the diff $$$$$
New tabs are a few cents each from ARB, there are different sizes of centre holes for different bolt heads, clarify your model/bolt size.
Clean and reapply loctite to the threads as well as they can work loose $$

OK thanks for that.
So you tap them on after you do up the bolts?
It would have been nice if ARB had told me that I would need the lock washers when I bought the other part from them.

Oh and also any idea what torque the bolts should have?
