Swapping 3y for 2.4d
Wanted.... 4.88 or 4.56 front GQ diff center. Also wanted... GQ rear diff complete.
I`m doing the visa versa with putting a 4Y to replace the 2.4D,I`m just stripping them both down and swapping everything over, wiring harness to everything in the engine bay and the speedo

Well since i've a 2.8 turbo hilux and a 3Y.
I would say a 3Y would go harder than a 2.4 turbo.
I guess it depends on what terrain.
My Rocky with a 3Y was dynoed at 95hp ATW. I guess its no big deal. Did abit of work. Fully blue printed and balanced, 2mm oversize pistons, Weber DCNF40, Perry extractors and exhaust.
