The anti-sway bar up front is to reduce body roll when turning. It also reduces wheel travel especially when offroad.

When you lift the front by winding the torsion bars, they stiffen up anyway which reduces body roll, so the sway bars then become basically useless. May as well allow the vehicle to get as much travel as it can when lifted and remove the bar.

If you stay at stock height...I'd probably recommend leave them on there when on the road.

In your case PV, I'd reccomend you leave 'em on......just incase you try any more low flying ....jumps !!

It might be a bit more stable when you land !!.....but if you're gonna use your Rocky off-road at less than 60mph, consider taking the sway bar off altogether or find some quick disconnect system for off road playing and then the ability to reconect for on road driving !!

I think some of the Mitsu boys had developed a quick release sway bar disconnect system.....do a search and see what you find, you may be able to adapt a similar thing for the Daihatsu....I think the GM boys have used the same thing or similar technology !
