Say does mud water give hell to Starter Motor and the Alternator and with the Alternator when the bearings sound noisy should you replace the bushes too ie reco it all... And can you spray the alt with WD40 or sim or does it fork it?

yes it can destroy them fast. the starter motor will have 2 bushes. u will be able to tell if they need replaceing as they will have plenty of slop. wash out the fields and brushbox.check brush life.+drive. oil bushes, grease bearings if possible. check the solinoid isnt full of water too.

you can replace the alternator bearings they are quite cheap. give it a clean up ,check brushes and all will be good.
