notice a few days ago that low beam on the drivers side is not working AGAIN
. thats 3 times with 3 different globes in 5 months though high beam and passenger side work without a problem. each time its been a case of low beam working for 2 months then it goes out. cant be wiring then the lights would never work, cant be globes as filaments are all intact. can anyone shed any light
on the problem?

If you try that globe in another unit, does it work propereley.
If so, then a loose joint or cracked wire could be the issue.
But if it is continually blowing only the low beam, then I'm guessing it is getting too much power for some reason.
My money would be on a dicky earth, that works partially, or only when it wants to.
There is an auto elec section, full of whizz kids and tech heads that may be more help.

What brand of globes are you using?
Had Same problem on high beam and driving lights on the Feroza for a while. Found that coz i was buying cheapy globes from servoes to replace dead ones while on the road, they just didn't last. Bought Narva or other quality globes and problem gone

That's gotta be costing you unless they are covering you under warranty. How do you find the light output from them?

have only ever bought the one pair. other pair were bought by a smash repairer after i got some panel beating done and he thought he busted the globe (but hadnt).
i reckon theyre awesome. when i get around to it i might buy some of the more cheaper popular ones and see how they compare.

panel work could mean new paint over earthings, and/or damaged wiring thats easy to miss.
If in doubt run all new wires.
