can ppl that are using these for their normal hi/low beam tell me wether the globes/plugs are any longer than a normal headlight setup. Are they easy to swap back to stock lights if checked by rta/police. Looking at doing a conversion, but need to make sure i can fit everything, my engine bay room is very tight. vehicle in question is yn67 hilux.

cheers

I`ve just put a set into the Gravitron, farkin bright too. It is easy to change back to normal H3, but why. Need to angle these HID`s down, turns night into day. Paid about $200 on E-bay auction a few months ago + some crystal inserts with circular LED park lights like BMW.

what is the difference in the colour options and what is better

for hi / low beam setup so far i have found 2 types

1.) Hid low beam and halogen high beam

2.) Hid low beam hid high beam using magnetic field to move between the two (i assume this means globe moves back and forwards)

are there any others?

If you can afford it go the HID HI/LOW. As the other type will just use a std halogen globe for Hi beam (so whats the point).
Think there about 20-30mm longer than a std globe. But they are easy as to fit.
As for light colour - From what I have seen the best colour temp to get is somewhere between 4000k and 5000k. I have 6000k 50w globes in some driving lights and they appear slightly blue.

Bentzook- I was looking at bidding on those headlights when they where there. Havent seen them since.
