Humbling experience:

... i got pulled out by a feroza today   :D

Well, atleast the roza didn't do or even attempt to do the track I tryed (wiser driver I think   )... took 2 1/2 hrs of messing about with shovels, logs, rocks, straps, shackles and right foot to finally get out. Soooo damn muddy

So, for all those roza owners there who have heard me bag them on here, I was quite suprised at how well it handled one slippery wombat hole rutted section that can give any rig truble in the wet, and when it lost traction (positioning it to pull me out) it was so damn light we just gave it a push  . First time i've seen a feroza offroad and hopefully not the last :D

In our country is only small number of rocky's, but quite a lot of ferozas. You can see them offroad everywhere.

LOL... good for you!
I own a 92 narrow track feroza with 8in wide sunnies, and so far I have dragged out a Hilux and a Pajero when they got stuck... and have pics to prove it! ;)

I consider one to be bogged, when you are no longer able to move in either direction. I have sunk the feroza many times and persistance, and a heavy right foot has always got me out (back forth back forth back forth)
As such, I have never got the thing bogged.

I have however had it stuck on the diff twice, with all 4 wheels paddling in water.
The only 'regret' about the car is that it has IFS,hangs low at the front, and doesnt flex much... other than that, its a beast!

Long live the mighty fez

Hah!

I pulled a Patrol Ute out of the bog one day out at bridge to nowhere, took a few goes but eventually budged the big unit!

Best thing i ever did actually, I go 4x4ing with him now and I can do crazier tricks as there is somebody there to pull me out :D

Cheers
Brad

Yeah, i could still move back and forth (about 1/2 a metre each way) but the front couldn't get ova this slippery log, and at the rear, well, the further back I managed to ram the log behind me, the more bent my zorst pip became :bad-words: . Eventually moved one log with the fez, heavy right foot to get myself over the next one (in reverse) and then I slid sideways down a bit of an embankment and couldn't reverse out cause of big tree branches that where gonna make my rear end a bit unhappy, so the fez skull dragged the rear sideways back up the embankment with me gassing it in reverse so I wouldn't slide into the branches  ... crazy stuff but would do it all again

nah... its certainly not spray on.. that would take too much effort.
That was the morning after when i took that pic, cos it was dark and cold when i got home. So all the muddy water had dried on the car.
I had driven into a big mushy puddle and ended up staying there a little longer than i had planned. working backwards and forwards till i could dig the wheel tracks long enough to drive out.... at one stage i cracked the shits and redlined it in 1st high and showered the car in mud (so yes, it was raining mud)....Its not as thick as it looks. hence the under side was clean (was a lot of water splashing around)
:P

... no point washing a car thats only 1/2 dirty now is it?
