heavy duty battery cable

anyone else interested in some 00 (2/0) / 65mm^2
or 000 (3/0) / 85mm^2 battery cable
I need to get some but i think i can only get it in 30m lengths of which i need about 10-15m. going to ring around next week for prices.

why not use heavy duty welding cable u can buy it by the meter from BOC or blackwoods

I bought some on the coast from an electrician he got it from the supplier in the length i wanted,it was expensive.

I am looking into this option too, tohugh i'm not sure if i want orange cables

You can get it in black. Cable prices have gone up dramatically lately, almost double due to the rise in copper prices.

Not sure what's around you but my local Bursons stocks 00B&S at least, maybe if you make a few calls you won't need to buy a whole roll.

I can get 92mm2 for $15 m but not sure if the price has gone up.

got some prices today, cheapest so far
00 or 2/0 or 65mm^2 cable current cap 430 amp $12.80 p/m black
000 or 3/0 or 85mm^2 cable current cap 370 amp $15.90 p/m black
it has gone up heaps in price, though last time i was looking the best price i could get was $13.75 p/m from an electrical wholesaler for 70mm^2 cable so these prices arent comparatively that bad.
Havent got into contact with blackwood/boc yet
