Hello,
Im new to the 4WD legue, hence the first post. Well this will be my first car infact, and im looking at spending around $5000 give or take a couple of k. Im looking at the Sierra and the Jimny I think, probably a bit keener on the Sierra. But ofcourse im open to anything, and even any modifications that you would reccommend. Im worried about the avaliability of parts, I live in Sydney so not sure if thats good or bad.

So I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give me, sites I should look at.

Cheers, Brodie J

These guys would be more useful in your region.

In Melbourne Sierra 2nd hand parts are drying up, with Jimny parts getting more common.

Sierra is cheaper and easier to mod for off road at the moment.

Jimnies are coil and EFI
Sierras are old school carby and leaf sprung.
