hi i got a f75 rocky with the (pss) 4wd button on the dash. :bad-words: .
went out to appin the other day and had a cool bash.Got back to the road and no 2wd . Got it home and found the vacum switch was not working.
Diahatsu (peter warren) want $186.00 + gst :x
So does anyone have any ideas on where else to get this sort of stuff aftermarket. its a simple 12v vac switch.

cheers craig

Ripp it all out and weld a lever in there :D

Dont think you'd have much luck with aftermarket, try a decent spare parts place - not like repco or sumthing. Or a daihatsu wrecker.

When you say switch is it just like button switch thing that you press?? Just go to jaycar and buyt any old switch and wire it up  :?

Yer i wish i could the older type on the lever is a lot better.
dont know why they changed it. :? .
The switch on the dash works ok but it has a vacum actuator in the transfer to change from 2wd/4wd. there are 2 vac switches on the transfer
1 for 2wd 1 for 4wd. one switch was stuffed and at $180 ea i thought i would have a go at pulling it apart.
inside to switch the ports were blocked and the magnet was rusty.
Cleaned it all out put it back together and it all works cool :D

thanks for the info

craig.
ps the dudes at dai-care are cool
