thats what ive head will happen, they will keep the 120 series, but dump a new motor into it- the new motor is already in them in europe...

not uncommon for toyota to put different motors into different trucks- the 90 series prados had 4 engines worldwide...

3.0 Turbo Intercooled Diesel
3.4 Quad Cam V6 petrol
2.7 EFI DOHC 4 cyl petrol
2.8 3L 4 cyl Diesel (god i feel sorry for anyone who owns one of these)

Well... In england its called the landcruiser (the 100 series is the Amazon over there....dunno why) Bastards get a shorty version of it too...

But its already got the 3.0L D4D engine in it, with 122kw/410nm., but they miss out on the dual tanks- they get a 90L tank, and the 2nd sub tanks not added... wouldnt be too hard to fit.

its already a RHD, and probably all it needs to do is be cleared by ADR's and its in... its just a case of toyota australia flogging the old 1KZ-TE for all its worth before ditching it...

The shorty looks like a rav4 on steroids!

Speaking of the Rav4.... they get a diesel version of that too- 2.2L D4D that pumps out 130kw and 400nm torque!!! Thats in the old shape rav too- they dont have the new "I was raped by a kluger" look one!
