Just wondering whether anyone in Sydeny/Central Coast can point me in the direction to get suspension work done, I have been given some new Ranch0 9000X shocks and rockcrawler spring to fit to my 62 series. Having already got the parts a lot of places are saying not, it's not worth us only doing the labour?
Looking at doing 3" suspension lift and 2" body lift.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Cheers

I am supprised about that, but you can try your mechenic if you are having issues with the 4b shop, I would do it for you, but I very much doubt you want to bring it to the other side of sydney, ihave you thought about doing it yourself?? it is all farily easy work, also make sure you have new ubolts and bushes when you do the springs

If you've only tried 4b shops, try a dedicated suspension joint. Or just your local, trusted mechanic. I had my mech do mine and for a fraction what the 4B places wanted.

Sounds like the sorta place you don't want working on ya 4bee then....I mea if they are so busy that it's not worth their time then even if you were getting the parts they'd probably slap it together a bit dodgy.....
If the shop really had their labour rates so low that they needed to subsidise it with parts, they if they had half a brain they'd simply quote a bit more time to do it.
Ay way you look at it - that's not the sorta place I'd be looking to go to.

cheers for the replies guys, do I have to get an engineer's certificate for the body lift?
How much would the body lift kit be?
Pongo: As long as I don't have to get a certificate before the suspension, and the newy guys do good work, I'd be willing to pay.
