Outer Limits 4x4 Board

The TradeSmart Industrial Group have 20 and 50 litre portable air tanks for sale, $55 and $87 respectively.
Just wondering if that's good value.

How many litres of air would say, your average 33" muddy hold? I mean, if these things only hold enough air to reinflate 1 tyre then I cant see the value unless you have a thumpin air compressor to keep up, in which case you probably wouldn't need an air tank? just the compressor.
The pressure relief valve on them is 125-160psi.

Do a search - I was trying to figure out a very similar question recently and we did all the math in a topic that should be around here somewhere.

Try going to an truck or bus wreckers, their fairly cheap $20 to $40. Then you can pick what ever shape fits your rig!!

Has been dicussed before, and it holds nowhere near enough to reinflate a tyre. Get a truck tank or old fire extinguisher and hook it up to a compressor, eg, Sanden AC or electric....

Yep, that's what I thought.
Need a sizeable tank and a thumping a/c.
Might just rely on the slow, be patient method
