I have an 89 gq patrol wagon duel fuel with 333000 klms on it. My problem is that i only get bout 3klm per litre on both. the head is new and had the gearbox reco not long ago and still no change. Also had countless tune ups and although it runs great nothing changes. The gas system is an Impco 300a. Its got a 66l fuel tank and 120litre lpg tank. Doesnt blow smoke at all. The rest of the car is as follows ,, 2in lift, snorkle,31\10.5\15 tyres.. Any helpfull advice would be great.

They are generally thirsty. Are you running the points ignition still or have you converted it over to electronic. This may help the economy. When I had mine it realisticall only got those k's as well. Is it tuned for LPG or petrol.
