Ok, I'm changing to lpg soon but I'm unsure of what brand I should be looking at, so I would like some peoples opinions on what type to buy, and also a good lpg conversion place in Melbournes eastern suburbs would be handy as well. Thanks in advance.

Go only Impco LPG equipment, have run it on the different cars over the years and never had problems. Make sure Impco and not the many cheap copys out there these days.

Go to Auto Gas Connection in Carrum Downs, they are guns with LPG, and can tune it properly in house on their Dyno.
I prefer Impco equipment myself, even over Gas Research stuff, and B2 convertors, which are made in moorabbin, are very good.

DONT USE LPGAS1 IN LILYDALE they are incomperdent wankers that dont know any thing about cars they used a file to file my dissy cap only because they could not be bothered getting a new one . but charged me for a new one . so car was running ruff as and had to pay to get it fixed by another place
they also installed gas onto my mates disco and forgot to ture one of the 2 botttles on so he thought that there was a big problem on his car so they just replaced both bottles for new ones (because he had second hand bottles installed ) and charged his heaps and he lives in sydney so a week of work , then they relised that one was turned off ???
also my dad had a head gaskit done by them , they did the head gaskit and said that they got the radiiator recoiled , but the next week my dads car over heated and did the heads again then he relised that all they did was spray his radiator with black paint !!! . his radiator was only using 20% of capability DONT USE LPGAS1

My conversion was done at LPGAS1 a couple of years ago, no probs with that as such. I replaced my knackered cylinder head with a new one, set my tappets but noticed poor economy so i booked it in for them to look at. I was surprised when they told me they would have to set my tappets as they were way out, before they would dyno it. I didnt have time that day so that arvo I checked the clearances myself to find they were spot on factory spec. Dont really know what to think as it runs sweet even at idle. Its rare that i ever pay to have work done on my car, so im sceptical at the best of times.
