I had a little panel made, that was bolted just below where your switches are. It looked good, but I don't have any photos of it, and now its pulled apart.

yeah mine is in the same place as Loomis (switches and compressor), but mine was fitted when I bought it so not sure about the switch hole size.

my tip would have them centrally mounted so a passenger/navi can flick them, and so that you can flick them, while in your seat, with the inertia reel on the seatbelt locking you into place. you might want them in a situation where you can't lean forward

You could get one of those dash pods that bolt onto the top of the dash, like in the 75 series. Take out whatever is in it, make up a blank plate (alloy or perspex) then mount them in there. I did this on my BJ 73. it works well. Will get some pics in a couple of days time.

For $8 you can get a bracket from ARB that will hold two, or if you are dual locked, three switches. I mounted mine directly under the centre console on the right hand side. This enables easy location by myself and the nav, as well as the added bonus of not having to cut and shut holes that I screwed up!

Hey MUD000, I'm twin locked. I stuck the compressor under the passengers seat. Main switch is on the dash beside the ashtray. I stuck a d/p toggle switch on my gear shifter. Flick it back is rear locker, forwards is F+R lockers, centre is off. works for me but i dont crawl. Crawlers seem to like front only sometimes.

My new diff lock turned up today so should have it in by the weekend
Still yet to decide on switch position
Pull starter motor out to get fixed up as it was playing up
Got wheels back from engineers at the painters now getting ready for the 35' claws to go on for next weekend's snow trip in the high country
