How to get rear flex from a 2002 hilux ifs

Guys a mate has a sas done on a 2002 singls cab lux the front has very good travel but the rear is crap i mean real crap.
They have put on 2" parabolic springs and man this has no flex.
With the shocks off the collapsed measurement is 530 the extended is 590
with the spring clamp removed it is 640mm.
What springs are you guys using we can go to a 3" spring no more kus it needs to be lane changed tested and pit passed.
Also what length shocks are you using?we would like to get at least a 10" travel shock and get the full 10" per side or as close to it as poss.
Cant use extended shackles as they wont approve .
Any recomendations on a good flexy leaf for the ifs rear or someone who can custom make 1 thats not too soft?
would going for a longer spring work by moving the rear hanger back?
Any help appreciated

Cmon guys ive read the bible a lot of info on putin the ifs leafs into the rear of a solid truk but cant find anythin on pple getin flex on the IFS 4B.
have tried a search but dialup at18.8kbps is very annoying.
Any1 know a good place to get info on a custom leaf setup??

Just find the lowest load carrying pair of springs you can find (shouldbe bout $250 - $500 for the pair) strip the bottom leaf out and it will flex really well, you just wont be able to carry anything. Something like an OME, EFS, etc in a standard to medium rate should flex well enough.
What state are you in? extended shackles should be engineerable if they are meaty/well constructed.

In WA so drop shackles are a no go even extended shackle is a no go.
What is the normal load carrying rate for a leaf spring if you know?

Dunacn that would be good but you have too much too do as it is!!!.
I rekn if he sees this post he will be calling me askin to drop it of for you too do while hes away for 5 weeks lol.

its because they have parabolics in the rear. they need shit loads of weight over them to actually work, that is why they work awesome in the front of luxs. easiest way to get flex is to buy a set of normal rears or ifs rears and take the load carrying leaf out of them( as long as he doesnt use it for work). after a while they will sag but the will e nice and soft and give you ample flex. if it is not enough buy a set of superior shackles for it.

get a 4 runner/surf rear end and weld it in
otherwise remove all the load leafs and run polyairs when u wanna cary weight

Man these guys have spun so much shit they beleive it themselves.
They told him hed get as much as me old surf coil rear with leafs if not more now it has the flex of an ifs front
.
They also said if the paras didnt flex theyd replace with tough dogs which now they wont .
And to add they aint even fited a longer rear brake line for fuksake.
Also the rear shocks are sitting when level with about 2" of extension left
These are the hardcore moders of the West me fukn think not
After spending over 10k its pretty piss weak.
Looking at geting springs from trail gear in the US unless OME sell a 4" lift so we an take the load leaf out and get the 3" the worst thing is it has to be swerve tested .
And the front shackle angle is about 45deg with a 2.5" lift so when he goes over a bump the farkin spring hits the chassis there solution elongate the hole and push crush tube back then fill the gap
Imagine elongating the hole in chasi to move the tube back 40mm and just patching the chasis how long b4 it rips the fukker out
.
it just gets better and better.

perhapse use the curent springs for the swerve test then put the flexy ones in afterwards
if it looks the same height whos to kno
otherwise mab using polyairs or a helper coil onroad to stop it from swaying may be the go
