4k with carb owners - Carb issues

Hey
I believe a couple on here are running 4ks in there sierras. Does anyone have some pics of the vacumn hose setup. I am running a 4k carb on the sierra and it runs good but bad fuel economy, thinking of checking all the hoses out as they go everywere. Anything else to check apart from the obvious. (recent filter/tune done).
Doing the black sooty thing also out the back.
Also does a 1.6 carb bolt on to a 1.3 manifold?
