I'VE MOVED CAMPS

OK, I've moved camps from Toyota to Nissan, only for the family car as I still have a 79 Hilux single cab with dual case as my play car. Funny how an addition to the family results it a bigger car. I couldn't fit the baby and wife in the cab of the Hilux so something had to happen.
I now have a GQ Patrol wagon with 4.2 petrol engine and baby seat in back. What I want to know is how much lift I require to run the 35*10.5 Simex Exreme Trecker II's off the Hilux on the Patrol. I want to run 33's on the road so I want minimum clearance with the 35 so it don't look silly on the 33's. Also, what would be a good diff ratio for this combo?
Also, (silly Question) Would standard GU suspension out of a 4.8 petrol wagon lift the GQ? If so how much

SMART MAN..
to run 35's you will get away with 4inch suspension, and 2in body, and slight trim of the lip on the guards.
Diffs, 4.3 or 4.6, one 4.6 better offroad, but you understand these things
ANy GU suspension will life marginally, but not enough for 35's but suspensino out of 3.0 GU will cause problems with reliability

35/36s can be fitted with 3 inch springs only and a decent amount of trimming...

Now that's my idea of a family car! Your driveway is just a mud pit isn't it?

Hey HeathX4 have you seen my driveway? On a wet morning I sometimes need 4X4 to get out! The wife's car is a Nissan Xtrail which has 4X4 so she can get out.
Thanks to all for the info, I'm off to the shed to get the angle grinder and tin snips

Bogged,
What probs would the 3.0 gu suspension cause? I'm interested because I have a 3.0 gu, so is the probs only when you use them in a gq or is there something wrong with it in the gu's?
