Advance adapters instructions are pretty shiat,Can you use the same principles as Marlin`s and it mentions in Advance adaprters that you need to cut part of the shift rod off is this necessary?

Did dual case install with two top shift cases and didn't have to cut shift rods, best to see how far the rod comes out then check it against the other case.
However i did have to grind the input shaft so it would fit up to the adapter. Found marlins instructions heaps better.

cheers Matt

Yeah i used marlins for my install and its all the same basically
Also found if you got a 12mm drill run it through the adapter in the hole for the front shift rod, as both of the castings ive worked with were very tight and it helps shifting a lil bit.

I also run the 2nd ball from the front cast behind the spring for the front shift to give it some extra locking force as i found i likeed to jump out of gear into netural on down hill runs.
