Remote mounted trans cooler...

Post by DougH »

Hi everyone,

I wanted to know if any of you have seen, or heard of any Pajeros with a remote mounted trans cooler.

I need to move the cooler on my 95 3.5 some where else.

I have two choices... both would use a new bigger plate cooler with a fan on it.

I can mount one in the hood and run flex lines up to it. My concern here, and I didn't think about it until some one mentioned it on the wire, is if the pump can handle pushing the fluid up the extra difference. I have no idea, and honestly I am not sure who I would ask.

The second idea is to mount is under the skid plate in the empty space in there.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
