Anything Will fit....
The Angle Grinder is your friend
Try it and either grind away or get out the old BF Hammer and make whatever is rubbing move!!
Good Luck

i did a 2" body lift on my 60 and i could fit 35s but it will rub off road
my springs have sagged heaps so a 3" suspension lift shouldnt scrap
if it does do a body lift only $150

Doesn't exactly convince me that it's safe!! do I have to get it engineered?

by law yes it needs an engineer report, also make sure your insurance also knows or your insurence will be valid.

I didn't think extended shackles are legal anywhere?
And if you don't get the bodylift engineered you wont be covered also.

Yes you can.
JusCruisin on this forum has 35" Extreme Trekkers with a sagging 2" lift on his 62 series.
Minimal amount of rubbing off-road.

they will fit fine on a 3" lift and they wont rub to much. I have a fealing that jusCruisin's gets away with it, because his ped's are 10.5" wide
