ok just reading up on the werock rules befor i start the buggy.
i came across the harness/ seat section that states you must have a 5 point harness.
i have my sparco race seats but they are not desinged to take 5 point harnesses (they have no hole near your peepee)..
am i missing something as in a way to mount/get the ball strap through the seat or do i have to sell up and buy a proper seat to take the 5 point harnesses.

Try giving Tony or Sam a call and you will get an exact answer. Other wise you may spend money that you didnt need to or turn up with something that is said to be unsafe. What type of class is this buggy Mark Unlimited or Pro mod?

will do... it will be in unlimited.
if they need changing im not the type to skip safety or use shoddy work so it will work out fine either way...

I am still running plastic seats but cant wait till i get my but in a suspension seat Have a look in Adrians buggie as i think these seats are the go.
Or the judges cup buggy is running one as well i think.
I think they are called PHP or FHP or something like that and are about 600 big ones but Sam will help with that one for sure. But apart from the safety thing when you spend 2 days competing in a plastic seat you sure do know it.
Adrians suspension seat is set up with a 5 point as well i think.
Will you be ready for round 3 or finals? Cheers Jamie

honestly i have not even checked the dates for round 3 and i still need to find a willing navvi... i guess the buggy will take a few months to build but i dont really want to rush it... but at the same time i really want it going..

PRP Or BEARD seats are the go.
Sean at ABT sells both types.
As for the Harness, give Tony or Sam a call.

would guess they are basing harness mounting on cams requirements, probably even class 8 buggy req's.
if so then it tends to be a mounting angle criticality from memory, usually stuffed up by the thigh support section of a four point compatible seat.

As for a 5 point harness all they are guide lines i think some people are still running 4 point.

The groin strap on a 5 point harness is only there to stop the lap sash part of your harness from sliding up to your chest and therefore letting you submarine or slide under the strap. It isn't actually there to physically hold you into the seat.
