All,
Has anyone used POR15 to paint a chassis. Do you recommend it. What else can you suggest ??? Will be taking it back to raw metal !

lot of guys use it from pavementsucks.com and pirate, have heard it works best when there is a little surface rust as opposed to clean metal

that stuff is great can be brushed on and most of the brush marks dissappear and it's tuff as any paint i've ever seen (can hit it with a hammer and it won't even mark)

I have a mate who used it on he restored MGB and he swears by it. Thats part of te appeal that it can be brushed on and most mark dissappear. I dont have a compressor yet and one less thing to buy. Only thing is the POR15 isnt UV ressistant so I need a top coat (ie, chassis semi gloss)
Muts be good for fourbies as we get allot of stones flying around
