Backed into a rock today...

Hi guy's, backed into a rock today while my attention was fixed on a tree I was determined to miss... Have crushed the exhaust just infront of the resonator('03 Triton). The car runs fine but now the exhaust tip hangs really low and it's only a matter of time before I do more damage. If I was to just cut the pipe near the bend and leave it without a resonator, how much extra noise is it likely to make...??? CBF going to an exhaust place to buy and fit the whole back section.

Sounds like you need to cut it off anyway, otherwise it'll jsut be a liability, so when you do you'll then know what it sounds like!

Figured as much, just didn't want to lay down on the wet ground to do it if it was going to be pointless... Getting to be a sook as I get older.
