We have just bought a 2003 Hilux Xtra Cab 4WD Diesel 3.0l EFI. We want a workshop manual for it (nothing wrong) and are not sure what is available. So the questions are
1) What have people got and is the "best"
2) Can you get one on a CD-ROM
Thanks in advance.

I gotta Haynes Repair Manuall for my 80 the other week from Bursons for about $40. It is very comprehensive and simple at the same time, has heaps of exploded views of bits and is easy to understand. They may do one for a Hilux??

Several manuals are needed for a for a Hilux.
Electrical, engine, body etc. are all in seperate manuals.
I bought the Toyota electrical and electrical supplement manuals for my 2004 Hilux Dualcab for around $120 each from my local Toyota dealer. I went into their workshop, looked at their manual library and worked out exactly what I needed for my model. Well worth the money IMHO.
I then bought a 1KZ-TE engine manual on Ebay for around $25 and it was the dodgiest crock of s#it I had ever seen. A5 size, blurry text and images and it didn't cover the build of engine I had in my 'Lux. Almost right, but not quite.
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for..... unless you steal it!!
